Letter 18 : Happy Easter
Dear Tim,
I can't believe that it's still snowing in Iowa, because it is quite hot now in Taiwan, we are all wearing t-shirts and shorts. These days, I go to swim every morning, in order to stay healthy and maintain my body shape. I used to jogging every morning, but it's getting hotter now, so I decided to swim instead of jogging. It's pretty annoying that summer is coming, I hate summer!
By the way, it was Easter last Sunday. On Easter Eve, we attended the mass, and we had a small parade that everyone had to carry a candle, I'm not sure what the candle represent. Anyway, during the mass, the priest read the story of Jesus's resurrection. Then, there were fifteen people who were baptized. So, these are the things we do on Easter Eve. There was nothing special about the mass on Easter, but we would use thurible and bells during the mass. This is our Easter, it's kind of boring.
We are having the long break of Children's day(I know, we are not children anymore now.) and Tomb Sweeping day. I'm very happy and relaxing with cats.

ReplyDeleteYour cat looks a lot happier, now that you're not trying to dress it up in some costume. My sad news is that our old (22 years) cat finally died. She was really an obnoxius cat, but we;ll miss her anyway. Cats are like that.
Are you going swimming in the morning, or in the afternoon? Where is the pool:? Is it indoors or outdoors? Out pool is, of course, outdoors, but even though the weather is getting warmer, the water in the pool is still too cold. Except for the kids, of course. They'll swim in the pool until their lips turn blue.
What's hugo doing, now that you've switched from running with him to swimming? Is he still running?
