Letter 7 : Happy Halloween!

Dear Tim,

  Answers...
6. "Jack of the lantern" was a evil blacksmith lived in Ireland during 18th century.
7. We use pumpkins for the lanterns nowadays because after Irish immigrants brought the custom of the Jake O' Lantern to America, the turnips were hard to find.
9. Toilet paper in trees, inscriptions on cars written in shaving cream and smashed pumpkins on the streets are acceptable tricks for Halloween.

Yeah! It's Halloween! Halloween is the one of my favorite holiday. Last time, we had worn costumes, gone the elementary next to our school and given children candies, remember? We won't go to the elementary school this year since the teacher who was in charge of this event is too busy to prepare it. But, we will still be dressed up for Halloween in our school. And we are going to pick our costumes this Sunday. Hope I can get a good one, I have no idea what I'm going to be dressed up now. Well, I will show you the photo next time.

Also, there's a event for us next Friday. We are going to attend a competition of dubbing. Remember last time I told you that we were preparing for dubbing for Frozen, and I was Elsa? After that, we ant another group were chosen to attend the competition. Well, this is a little nervous but also interesting. I'm quite looking forward to it.

By the way, we made some Portuguese Custard Tarts. They were tasty.
Normal ones which made by our group.

Matcha flavor. It looked pretty gross.

Best regards, Cathy.
