Letter 6: Halloween Is Coming

Dear Tim,

  About Iowa, it seems to be an interesting place. You really have many special neighbors. Especially, I haven’t seen a real turkey before. Iowa is such a great place.

Although my house is near mountains, there is few animals in our neighborhood. Just like what I said in last letter, there are only some stray cats near my house. Actually, it’s a little bit lonely and boring. I think this is the shortcoming of urban lifestyle.

  I’m very busy this week, there are a lot of things we are going to do. One of them is that we are going to wear Halloween costumes and go to Wenlin elementary school which is next to our school on Thursday. We will stand in front of the gate, sending candies to students. I am so excited. I haven’t joined this kind of activity since I graduated from elementary school. It took me much time to think what I’m going to wear. At last, I decide to dress up like a witch. I’ll take some picture of the process and share with you next week!
